Conclusion

The exceptional Dinailan, found only in Bicol, lives up to its identity of having an unbearable stench, yet a satisfying and addictive flavor just right to make Bicolanos go mmmm… Although this dish is not as famous as Bicol express or pinangat, for us, it sure is to die for. This delicacy can be cooked in various ways, namely: ginataan (with coconut milk), sinantulan (with santol), inasal (roasted), ginisa (sauteed) and many more, depending on the person’s choice in bringing the best spice out of it. One of the best-tasting Dinailan in Bicol can be found in Bagasbas, Daet. Manong Nelson Ngo's version of Dinailan is a sure bet, having no added chemical or extenders. Once you have tasted his prepared Dinailan, Et Voila! Bon Appetit! You’ll be sure to go home with a heart full of craving and a stomach full of delight. We, Bicolanos, should be proud of this one-of-a-kind dish and promote it in our country so they too would experience the pleasure of umamilicious Dinailan. We hope that this video blog will start the recognition of our delectable Dinailan dishes in all parts of the country and the world.

Here's a proof of Bicolanos liking for our appetizing Dinailan.
